  • The 6 Es of safety: Education, Engineering, Enforcement, Evaluation, Environment, Emergency

Day 2 – Industrial Hygiene and Hazard Control

  • Recognition, evaluation, and control of workplace hazards
  • Types of hazards: physical, chemical, biological, ergonomic
  • Implementing preventive measures for a safe work environment
  • Job Safety Analysis (JSA) procedures, benefits, and documentation
  • Conducting effective safety audits

Day 3 – Accident Investigation, Reporting, and Prevention

  • Identifying immediate and root causes of workplace accidents
  • Accident reporting requirements and best practices
  • Risk management approaches to prevent future incidents
  • Evaluating the impact and costs of workplace accidents

Day 4 – Management of Health and Safety

  • Planning and setting objectives for effective HSE management
  • Leadership strategies to foster safety culture and compliance
  • Measuring and controlling safety performance
  • Emergency response, basic first aid, and CPR techniques
  • Behavior protocols during workplace emergencies

Day 5 – Ergonomics and Good Posture

  • Understanding ergonomic risks and their effects on health and productivity
  • Implementing ergonomic interventions to reduce workplace injuries
  • Fostering good posture, workplace habits, and employee well-being
