Course Overview

The Cyber Counterterrorism Investigations Course at HighPoint Center (HPC) is an advanced, operationally focused training designed to strengthen the investigative and analytical capabilities of law enforcement and intelligence professionals in addressing cyber-enabled terrorism.

As terrorist organizations increasingly exploit cyberspace for recruitment, financing, propaganda, operational planning, and attacks against critical infrastructure, investigators must develop specialized competencies in digital evidence handling, cyber forensics, online intelligence collection, and legal compliance.

This program integrates legal, technical, and operational dimensions of cyber counterterrorism. Participants will gain practical experience in identifying, collecting, preserving, analyzing, and presenting digital evidence while conducting Internet-based investigations using structured methodologies and specialized tools. Emphasis is placed on real-world case scenarios, operational security (OPSEC), online tracking techniques, and infrastructure protection strategies.
