Course Overview
Windows Server 2022 is the latest version of Microsoft’s Windows Server, built on the strong foundation of Windows Server 2019, around three pillars: Azure hybrid integration and management, application platform, and security. In this course, you will explore server hardware improvements, as well as common storage enhancements in Windows Server 2022, including advanced caching, Resilient File System (ReFS) snapshots, and faster storage. Next, you will discover security improvements in Windows Server 2022, including secure domain name system (DNS) support, Server Message Block (SMB) AES-256, SMB over QUIC, and Azure Arc. Then you will examine enhancements to cloud management and automation and platform flexibility, including Dynamic Source Routing (DSR) and virtualized time zone, as well as upgrades to Hyper-V Manager like the action bar, and live storage migration. Finally, you will learn how to install, set up, and configure Windows Server 2022.
